About the Tiki
About our Tiki Charter Cruises
Aloha Tiki launched in May 2017 with 5 siblings at the helm.
The business combines their love for tiki bars, boats and Wilmington into one entrepreneurial venture. We hope you’ll join us for the ride.
The Cardamone family has lived in the Port City since 1996, and the siblings always talked about going into business together. In May 2017, they made that dream come true by combining a love of Tiki bars, boat rides, and Wilmington’s coast into one entrepreneurial dream.
The safe and sturdy vessel is built on a 15.5′ by 15.5′ wooden platform and constructed from polyethylene barrels, pressure treated marine grade wood, steel fasteners, and a big dose of aloha spirit. Powered by a four-stoke Suzuki outboard engine, it glides through the Intracoastal Waterway at a comfortable four knots per hour. Meanwhile, a circular wrap-around Tiki bar sits on the platform. Topped with a synthetic thatch roof and fitted with comfortable bamboo stools, it can carry up to six people at a time. The boat comes with all the proper safety gear and – most importantly – a cooler with ice to keep your drinks cold! Cruises are BYOB, so stock up on your favorite snacks and sips before boarding.
Our cruises suit all kinds – whether you’re a manager hoping to treat your hardworking coworkers, a blushing bride-to-be, or an adventurous dad looking for fun new outings, Aloha Tiki provides you with a lu’au lounge and a spectacular view. After you set sail, your only job is to kick back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the coast from a totally new perspective.
Sip & swim from the best post on the coast.
If the Aloha Tiki Charter causes a stir, don’t be alarmed. It’s not uncommon for our unique cruise to catch the eye of passers-by. Simply raise your glass and wave—it’s the aloha way.
